Planning the layout of the project |

Lifting the existing surface and scarifying the soil |
Before the pavers can be laid it is vital that the existing surface be lifted and prepared in such a way that a solid base and correct levels are achieved ensuring trouble free drainage. Please note that it is not always necessary to uplift existing surfaces as one may often leave existing concrete behind if the required levels permit. Remember the stronger the base the longer it will last. Once the existing surface has been uplifted the soil is then scarified to a depth of not less than 150mm, the levels are then adjusted to ensure correct water drainage. Our teams are well equipped to ensure that your job is correctly prepared. |
